. October 14, 2008

WHITE PLAINS, NY, Janaury 26, 2007. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.(R) (NYSE:HOT) and Columbia Sussex Corporation together announce the conversion of the Wyndham Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel to the Sheraton(R) Baltimore City Center Hotel, a 707-room hotel in Baltimore, Maryland, offering the full range of signature Sheraton amenities and personalized services in a comfortable setting. The hotel is owned by Columbia Sussex Corporation and is flying the Sheraton flag under a long-term license agreement.

The conversion will mark the mid-point of a $30 million renovation to virtually every space within the property, including all guest rooms, meeting and ballroom spaces and all public areas, including the lobby, hallways and fitness center. As part of the extensive renovation project, the hotel's lobby has been re-designed to feature marble flooring and comfortable contemporary furniture, including leather sofas and intimate seating areas. Renovations to the North Tower of the hotel have already been completed and remaining renovations will give the hotel an inviting ambiance, modern amenities and freshly decorated guest rooms and public areas.

"The Sheraton Baltimore City Center will give visitors a sense of belonging with its newly renovated interior, state-of-the-art technology and full array of Sheraton's signature services," said Hoyt Harper, senior vice president Sheraton Hotels. "We are delighted to welcome this hotel into the Sheraton family, bringing warmth and comfort to Baltimore."

The hotel, conveniently located across from the 1st Mariner Arena, offers 32" wall-mounted, flat screen televisions, high-speed internet access, dual-line telephones, voicemail and express video checkout. Guest rooms also feature Sheraton's signature Sweet Sleeper Bed(R) and bathrooms with marble floors and pedestal sinks. Other hotel features include a health fitness center with state-of-the art cardio and fitness equipment, which offer sweeping views of downtown Baltimore, an outdoor swimming pool and a business center. The Sheraton Baltimore City Center is also home to Shula's Steak House and the Shula's 2 sport-themed restaurant and bar.

"Both business and leisure travelers have become increasingly sophisticated since this historic property first opened in 1968 and since the last renovation in 2001," said Chris Phillips, general manager Sheraton Baltimore City Center. "The extensive renovations and the support of both Columbia Sussex and the Sheraton brand will allow us to better serve the next generation of travelers with the service they expect."

The Sheraton Baltimore City Center offers more than 30,000 square feet of conference and meeting space, including the Liberty Ballroom, and 24 meeting rooms. Renovations to the hotel's 12,296 square foot ballroom and 17,700 meeting spaces will begin on January 18, and will be completed by the end of June.
