South Australia is gearing up for a year of gourmet events in 2007, including the biennial Tasting Australia www.tasting-australia.com.au, which promotes the state's best food and wine to the world. More than 100 food and wine writers and gourmet aficionados from around the globe will converge on South Australia for eight days of culinary splendor, October 13-20, 2007.

This year's event is set to be bigger and better than ever before and will showcase a fabulous selection of South Australian food, wine, beer, and hospitality to visitors. Tasting Australia is one of the most significant culinary events of its kind.
