Vision Hospitality Appoints Jeff Hollis GM for Hampton Inn & Suites Chattanooga

Chattanooga, TN - May 18, 2011 - Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. proudly announces the appointment of Jeff Hollis as General Manager for the brand new Hampton Inn & Suites Chattanooga Downtown. The six-story $18.2 million dollar property is located at the corner of 4th and Chestnut Street, formerly home to the Regional History Museum. The hotel offers a contemporary urban design featuring 134 rooms and is proud to be one of the first Hampton Inns in the country to pursue Silver LEED Certification. Hollis joined VISION in June of 2008 as the Assistant General Manager for the Hilton Garden Inn Chattanooga Hamilton Place. After just over one year training with General Manager, Tim Haynes, Jeff was offered an opportunity to advance and promoted to General Manager for the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott I-24/Lookout Mountain. During his short three-year tenure with VISION, he has demonstrated strong leadership and motivational skills, in addition to an affinity for excellent guest service and professionalism. Furthermore, he is a strong believer in the VISION culture of empowerment and respect for associates as well as the shared VISION or “mission” to be the best, most respected company in the industry. “Jeff has consistently risen to any opportunity he has been presented with. Hollis graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications as well as a minor in Business. He began his career in retail management with Kmart Corporation then moved on to a ten-year management position with Office Depot. With fifteen years of experience in retail management, his transition into hospitality was virtually seamless. His charismatic personality made him a natural in guest service and a solid team player with a proven leadership skill set. Hollis, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, has resided in the Chattanooga area for seven years. He is a very active participant in the local community and in the hospitality industry. A member of The Greater Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, Jeff currently serves on the board of the Southside Chamber Council.

A volunteer for many local Habitat for Humanity projects, Hollis is continuously increasing his monthly “team” turnout. Promotion of events is a passion of his, as he and his twin brother John were Concert Event Promoters for a short while. He always has a hand for assistance and is eager to step up to any challenge. Hollis is a member of the VISION Softball Team and an avid golfer. He and his wife Stephanie enjoy many outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, and spending time with their two dogs, Cooper and Kali.
