GrandStay Announces New Hotels and Plans for Growth
May 19, 2011 - GrandStay® Hospitality, LLC, announced new properties now open and plans for new hotel construction and hotel conversion projects during 2011. Having already opened four conversion hotels in early 2011, GrandStay® Hospitality has aggressive Franchising plans for the coming year.
GrandStay® Hospitality, LLC, the franchisor of GrandStay® Hotels and Crossings by GrandStay® Inn & Suites, announced newly opened hotel properties and its plans for new hotel construction and hotel conversion projects in the coming year.
GrandStay® Hospitality opened four conversion hotels under its franchise in early 2011 and currently has plans for four more conversions as well as the construction of three new hotels, according to Rodney L. Lindquist, President and CEO of GrandStay® Hospitality, LLC.
The hotels that were converted under the GrandStay® Hospitality franchise in early 2011 include the Appleton, Wisconsin Wingate by Wyndham, now a GrandStay® Hotel & Suites; the Fort Myers, Florida Wynstar Inn & Suites, now a GrandStay® Hotel & Suites; the Stillwater, Minnesota Country Inns & Suites, now a Crossings by GrandStay® Inn & Suites; and the Baxter, Minnesota Hawthorn Inn & Suites, now a Crossings by GrandStay® Inn & Suites. The Becker, Minnesota Sleep Inn was converted to a Crossings by GrandStay® Inn & Suites in late 2010.
New construction plans include a GrandStay® Residential Suites Hotel in Aberdeen, South Dakota and a Crossings by GrandStay® Inn & Suites in Waverly, Iowa and Chisago / Lindstrom, Minnesota.
Expecting 2011 to be a busy year, Jon Kennedy, Senior VP of Franchise Development at GrandStay® Hospitality stated, “We have a strong interest in our brand.
