. May 23, 2011

May 20, 2011 - Red Lion Hotels Corporation (NYSE: RLH) franchise development team announced today that the Red Lion Inn Rancho Cordova has officially converted to the brand.

"We sought out a brand that would allow for us to compete for midweek corporate business, in addition to leisure and group," said Juan Llaca of Vista Investments, owners of the hotel.

The Red Lion Inn Rancho Cordova, 10713 White Rock Rd, was originally built as a Fairfield Inn by Marriott. This 109-room limited service hotel was most recently the Vagabond Inn Executive Sacramento - Rancho Cordova. The rooms have been upgraded and include flat screen televisions. The hotel offers free high speed internet access, complimentary signature Roaring Start Breakfast® and a heated swimming pool, all just minutes from Mather Air Force Base, Intel and Aero Jet.

"The owners have made several major improvements to this property in the last few months, including a new hotel entrance and expanded lobby," said Rich Carlson, Red Lion Hotels Corporation Senior Vice President of Lodging Development. "We are excited to have them on board."

The RLH franchising team is targeting limited and full-service hotels in 11 Western States and British Columbia for conversion to the Red Lion Hotels brand.
