New GM at the Ambassadors Bloomsbury Hotel
The 4-star Ambassadors Bloomsbury Hotel has a new general manager.
May 31, 2011 - Luis Pedro has taken over the 100 bedroom boutique hotel and will oversee the day-to-day management of the hotel. His main focus will be to drive occupancy and rate using the hotel's exceptional location. Luis will also target increasing the events and conference business as well as continue to develop Number 12 Restaurant as an excellent destination for food lovers with great value for money.
Luis was working for the last three years as Deputy GM / Operations Manager at the Holiday Inn London - Camden Lock. Previously he was working with Hotel Management Services Ltd overseeing the refurbishment of the Euston Square Hotel and developing a new management team.
Originally from Portugal, Luis has tourism and hospitality management degree from a Portuguese University, a PGD in Hotel Operations Management from Swiss Hotel Management School and a GMP from Cornell University in the United States. He will be reporting directly to the Managing Director of the Company.
