Buffalo Lodging Appoints Peter Marks as GM Homewood Suites Holyoke/Springfield-North

BUFFALO, NY - June 10, 2011 - Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC, a hotel development and 3rd party management company, is proud to announce that Peter Marks has been brought on as general manager for the Homewood Suites Holyoke/Springfield-North hotel. The property is located at 375 Whitney Avenue in Holyoke, Massachusetts, just north of Springfield, off of I-91 with easy access to the Massachusetts Turnpike.

A hospitality professional with nearly two decades of management experience in the US and internationally, Mr. Marks joins Homewood Suites Holyoke from the Kansas City Airport Marriott hotel, where he served as director of operations. Peter also spent time with a number of other Marriott properties including the Residence Inn Philadelphia Airport, where he was general manager for 3 years, and the Courtyard Philadelphia Airport as general manager for 2 years.

Mr. Marks is a graduate of the Hotel Management School and Apprenticeship of Bielefeld, Germany. He also holds a Bachelor's degree from the Economics School of Guetersloh, Germany. Peter began his hospitality career in Germany as the opening assistant general manager for the Courtyard by Marriott in Bielefeld.
