Mumford Company Arranges Sale of Super 8 in Wheeling, WV
Newport News, VA - July 7, 2011 - The Mumford Company was pleased to once again represent an affiliate of Eastern Lodging, Inc. in the sale of the Super 8 of Wheeling, West Virginia to Vraj Mondal, Inc.
This is the 18th property that Mumford Company has sold on behalf of this organization and is part of an on-going, multi-unit disposition program. This property also represents Mumford Company's 20th hotel transaction thus far for 2011.
The purchasers are from New Jersey. They plan to make cosmetic renovations to the hotel, retain the Super 8 franchise and continue to post the strong results that this property has enjoyed in recent years.
The hotel is located just minutes from the Wheeling Island and Gaming Center, this 55 room hotel is easily accessible from Interstate 70 and has long track record of strong revenues and profitability.
