99-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott to Open in San Antonio, Texas

Bethesda, MD - July 14, 2011 - Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR; http://www.marriott.com ) is scheduled to open the 99-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in San Antonio, Texas this Friday, July 15, 2011. Located at 422 Bonham Street, the Fairfield Inn & Suites San Antonio Downtown/Alamo Plaza will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by HGP Corporation. HGP Corporation also owns and operates the SpringHill Suites hotel that will open on Friday as well.
Located one block from the historic Alamo and eight miles from the San Antonio International Airport, the hotel offers guests convenient access to the RiverCenter Mall and the San Antonio Riverwalk. Rates begin at $139 per night.
