Shangri-La Opens in Guangzhou, China

FEBRUARY 2, 2007. The Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou has opened its doors in the capital city of Guangdong province, setting a new benchmark for hotel services in Guangzhou.

The hotel is strategically positioned next to the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre and is 30 minutes by car from Guangzhou Bai Yun International Airport. It boasts sweeping views of the Pearl River from its riverside location and the elegant landscaped gardens provide an urban oasis for guests' comfort and pleasure.

730 luxurious guest rooms and suites offer guests the ultimate in deluxe service and hospitality and the hotel celebrates its grand opening on 26 March this year.
