The Brown Palace transforms into “The Red Palace” in honor of National Preparedness Month
Denver, CO - September 21, 2011 - To raise awareness for the American Red Cross and National Preparedness Month, The Brown Palace is transforming into “The Red Palace” for the entire month of September. In support of this important cause, the transformation of Denver's most iconic hotel is reflected throughout the property with a series of red-themed initiatives in place, including exclusive events, red-themed decor elements, special dining offers & unique spa packages.
The Red Cross, which promotes preparedness year-round, joins emergency response agencies, fire departments and governments nationwide during National Preparedness Month in September to encourage the public become better prepared for disasters and emergencies.
The Brown Palace is now “The Red Palace” with a number of red-themed elements incorporated throughout the hotel including red flowers displayed across the property, a Red Cross flag raised in the lobby, employees sporting Red Cross pins and a portion of proceeds put towards supporting the cause.
