New DoS for Park City/Salt Lake City, UT Division of Rocky Mountain Connections
Rocky Mountain Connections, a leading destination management and special events company serving Colorado, Utah and Wyoming, has selected Christopher Cunningham to direct all aspects of sales for its Park City/Salt Lake City, Utah, operation.
Park City, UT - October 6, 2011 - Rocky Mountain Connections (RMC) continues to thrive in the hospitality, events and destination management industry in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah destinations, and with its growth the company brings on new executive leadership for its Utah operation. Christopher Cunningham will serve as the director of sales for the Park City/Salt Lake City, Utah, division. Cunningham's responsibilities will include the management of all prospective and current client relationships, communications with regional hotels, restaurants and activities providers, strategic and business plan development, and creation of tailored proposals in the tradition of RMC's inventive and high-quality standards.

Cunningham has more than a decade of experience, training and education in business and sales in the hospitality and culinary arts industries. Most recently, he served as senior sales manager for Global Events Partners destination management company in Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah; prior to that he provided business development services with Meridian Enterprises Corporation in its travel division, and served as travel director for Maritz, Inc. in his native Missouri. He managed events for Destination VIP in Park City, and gained extensive experience in guest services at luxury properties Montage Deer Valley in Park City and Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado. Cunningham earned his bachelor's degree in communications in 1998 from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and in 2010, he graduated with a Certificate in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts.
