The California Lodging Industry Association's 65th Anniversary Dinner & Award Winners
Sacramento, CA - California Lodging Industry Association (CLIA) members and vendors from all across California gathered together to celebrate their 65th Anniversary. This is a milestone event for the 1,020 member strong statewide association that includes: 714 lodging properties, 124 associate members, and hundreds of education, tourism, restaurant, professionals and vacation rental properties. Outgoing 2011 board members were recognized with a roaring round of applause and the 2012 board of directors were installed.
2011 CLIA Annual Award Recipients included:
- 2011 Scholarship to Christopher Delfs, Collins School of Hospitality, Cal State Pomona.
- The 2011 Marin Management, Inc. Excellence In Lodging & Hospitality Award for the Outstanding Lodging Person Award was presented to Emily Eckhart of Seacrest Oceanfront Hotel.
- 2011 Herzog Insurance Services Excellence In Lodging & Hospitality Award for the Outstanding Lodging Property Award was presented to the Chardonnay Lodge owned by Kiran and Nalin Patel
