January 12, 2012 - Andrea Santignazio has been appointed assistant director of sales and marketing of Kempinski Palace Portoroz, Slovenia. The resort is a member of exclusive Virtuoso travel network and is famous for its mild Mediterranean climate and long spa tradition.

In his new role, Santignazio will be in charge to implement all sales initiatives about leisure, groups and MICE. Prior to that, Santignazio has held various positions inside Kempinski Hotels Group as Sales Manager at Kempinski Giardino di Costanza in Sicily and senior sales manager at Kempinski Hotel Ajman, UAE.
