Proceeds From Hyatt Regency Trinidad's LIME Fete to Support United Way
February 2, 2012 - Once again, Hyatt Regency Trinidad will donate a portion of the proceeds from its all-inclusive fete, LIME, to a charitable cause. Through United Way Trinidad and Tobago the donation will support the Heroes Foundation and benefit their Youth Mentorship Program.
In 2011, the hotel hosted for the first time, the ultimate all-inclusive Carnival fete - LIME. A portion of the proceeds of that fete was donated to the Christ Child Convalescent Home through partnership with United Way. According to Sister Anunciata upon receiving the donation, “In moments like these we are given a breath of fresh air, as Hyatt has generously assisted us in our time of need.”
Hyatt Regency Trinidad is committed to assisting and supporting communities and organizations which are in need and once again will contribute proceeds from its all-inclusive fete this year. “Community engagement and environmental responsibility is a major part of the Hyatt culture and a main focus of the Hyatt Thrive Initiative,” says General Manager Russell George. “It's not about us, it's about what we can do to have a positive impact.”
LIME 2012 will be held on Wednesday, February 15 on the Waterfront, with performances by Kes the Band, Roy Cape All Stars, Ravi B and Karma, Kerwin Dubois, Stalin and more. Tickets are available online at www.ultimatelime.com or at Hyatt Regency Trinidad.
