Carlson Recognizes Employee of the Year at Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside

Rochester, NY - February 16, 2012 - The Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside is proud to announce that Carlson Hotels has awarded its Front Office Supervisor, Dan Taylor as the 2011 Employee of the Year. The original announcement was made to the Hotel on February 8th. Taylor will be officially honored during the annual Carlson Global Business Conference in Nassau, Bahamas on February 16th.

Taylor was hired as a guest service representative in 2010 and was quickly promoted to his current position as the Front Office Supervisor. After just two years of service at the Hotel it is clear why Carlson has recognized him with such an honor. Taylor truly embodies the “Yes I Can!” spirit, which is boasted as Radisson's top service philosophy. “Danuel Taylor is an exceptional young man who is very passionate about taking care of our hotel guests. He consistently goes out of his way to ensure that each and every one of our guests has their expectations exceeded by the time they depart, “says hotel GM, Michael Marsch. “We've been very focused on updating our look and amenities but our staff, Danuel especially, hasn't forgotten that customer service is at the core of an exceptional guest experience, and I think this award is indicative of that.”

Outside of his dedication to the Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside, Taylor is an accomplished gospel singer who volunteers his time as the music director at his church. As a founder of “Urban Steel” an urban steel drum band, Taylor has had the opportunity to pursue another passion. This band toured to Trinidad to represent the United States at the Youth Forum Summit of the Americas. This group performs around the area offering free concerts and encourages youth to find an interest and pursue it.

Taylor's award caps off a very progressive year for the Radisson Hotel Rochester, which has seen multiple renovations and will continue into 2012 with ongoing renovations to the mezzanine level and the Riverside Ballroom.
