Fabrice Moizan to Become GM of Hotel Fouquet's Barrière in Paris
New York - February 20, 2012 - Fabrice Moizan , currently resident manager of Paris' Hotel Fouquet's Barrière, will officially be appointed general manager of the hotel on March 5, 2012.
Hotel Fouquet's Barrière's current general manager, Pierre Ferchaud, was appointed to the position on a fixed-term engagement in September 2010, and made it his top priority to continually develop the quality of services offered by the hotel. Today, Hotel Fouquet's Barrière is recognized world-wide as a luxury hotel of exceptional standards.
Fabrice Moizan has held the position of resident manager since October 2010, closely following Pierre Ferchaud's arrival. Together, they have successfully motivated the hotel's entire staff to always go above and beyond, ensuring that Hotel Fouquet's Barrière meets challenging goals of excellence.
After beginning his career on the island of St. Barts at the Hotel Guanahani, Fabrice Moizan, 38, initially joined the Lucien Barrière Group in Deauville, where he held several management positions. First, at the Hotel du Golf Barrière as food & beverage director; next, at the Normandy Barrière as sales director; then, at the Hotel Royal Barrière as resident manager; and finally, back at the Normandy Barrière, where he was operations manager for a period of four years. Prior to his appointment at Hotel Fouquet's Barrière, Mr. Moizan headed the opening of the Radisson Thalasso Spa and Resort in Tunisia.
