Hay Creek and US Hotels Group Form JV and Acquire Two Luxury Boutique Properties

EXETER, NH - September 27, 2012 - Hay Creek Hotels announced today that it has formed a new venture with US Hotels Group to acquire two luxury boutique properties, The Orchards Hotel in Williamstown, MA and The Centennial Hotel in Concord, NH, from the Carlyle Group. Under the agreement, Hay Creek Hotels will retain a 10% ownership in the hotels and will continue to manage both properties.

Paul Hanley, CEO of US Hotels Group, sees this purchase as part of the company's overall strategy to grow and expand, not only in New England but throughout North America. The Orchards, an AAA Four-Diamond hotel, is a classic rural property perfectly situated in the Berkshire Mountains. The 49-room hotel features 3,100 square feet of event and meeting space, an award-winning steakhouse and numerous guest amenities.

The property is close to Williams College, Tanglewood Performing Arts Center, MASS MoCA and additional world renowned cultural centers in the area.

The Centennial Hotel, with its contemporary design, is located in the heart of New Hampshire's state capital and offers guests modern accommodations and amenities within a historic Victorian landmark property.

The Centennial features conference and private event space, as well as a highly-lauded award winning dining experience at Granite Restaurant and Bar.
