RFID Hotel Acquired by Lodging Access Systems, LLC
Hospitality security industry veteran, Stephen Brooks locks up acquisition of leading provider of RFID keycards and credentials to the hotel industry
October 2, 2010 - RFID Hotel, a sales, marketing and order fulfillment company that supports the hospitality industry with a full spectrum of RFID keycards and credentials, was recently acquired by Lodging Access Systems, LLC. Lodging Access Systems is owned and operated by Steve Brooks, who has over twenty years of experience in the sales, service and installation of electronic locks, in-room safes, and aftermarket products related to the support of security solutions.
Prior to the recent transaction, Lodging Access Systems held a long-term agreement representing Onity, a part of UTC Climate Controls and Security a unit of United Technologies Corporation (NYSE-UTX) in the Southeast United States. During the eight years spent representing Onity, Brooks was awarded several individual, team sales and customer service awards. Upon his retirement from lock and in-room safe system sales for Onity, he was honored with a prestigious appreciation and achievement award, which thanked him for over $22 million in sales and upwards of 2,000 new customers developed in just eight years.
Previously, Brooks worked with Kaba Ilco for seven years, and has had longstanding business relationships with top hospitality security technology providers including Saflok and VingCard Elsafe.
“Aligning Lodging Access Systems with RFID Hotel was a natural fit for the growth of the business. Both companies have a solid history of providing security related services to the hospitality industry,” says Brooks. “RFID Hotel's mission of providing the highest quality RFID key cards, key fobs and wristbands at the most competitive prices with a strong 'customer is right' philosophy is something that I am proud to stand behind.”
