Evolution Hospitality Assumes Management of Two Clearview Hotel Capital Properties in San Diego
Overseeing Operations for the 176-room Courtyard and the 123-room Fairfield Inn & Suites, Both in the Old Town District
Newport Beach, CA - October 8, 2012 - Effective October 1st, Evolution Hospitality assumed management responsibility for two of Clearview Hotel Capital's properties, the 176-room Courtyard and the 123-room Fairfield Inn & Suites, located in the prestigious San Diego historical district called Old Town. Sanjay Patel, Evolution Hospitality's vp of operations, will provide oversight for the two hotels.
“Evolution Hospitality has demonstrated to us their ability to drive revenue through their sales-driven culture which includes a focused regional sales effort, the acumen provided by their in-house marketing team, and a finely tuned revenue management approach. Our decision to switch management companies was largely based on Evolution Hospitality's track record for producing great topline results while still tightly managing expenses,” said Jon Kline, Clearview Hotel Capital's founder and president.
“Our owner mentality, pervasive throughout the Evolution Hospitality organization, is the foundation of our management approach,” said John Murphy, Evolution Hospitality president. “Our focus will be strengthening the Old Town assets by providing our proprietary tools and sales engine as support, and always using an owner's lens to make the best decisions to add value at both locations.”
The acquisition of these two new management contracts increases the Evolution Hospitality portfolio to 17 managed assets, reflecting an 89% growth since Evolution Hospitality launched its management platform in January 2011. Since launch, Evolution Hospitality has acquired the management responsibility for nine properties including the Queen Mary Long Beach for Save The Queen, LLC; Hotel Adagio San Francisco and Homewood Suites Seattle Convention Center for Chesapeake Lodging Trust; a Calabasas hotel undergoing significant renovation and repositioning as an upscale independent hotel, launching mid-2013 for the Chanel West Group; and the Courtyard Long Beach development for Nexus Companies.
