Guests can now borrow bikes from Seattle's Hotel FIVE, The Maxwell Hotel, University Inn and Watertown Hotel
Bellevue, WA - October 12, 2012 - Guests can now ride in style with the complimentary guest bike program at all Pineapple Hospitality hotels. The hotel management division of Columbia West Properties has extended its complimentary guest bike program to its entire portfolio of Seattle properties: Hotel FIVE, The Maxwell Hotel, University Inn and Watertown Hotel.
“Seattle is a very bikeable city and our guest bike program has been a popular guest amenity at The Maxwell Hotel,” said Michelle Foreman Barnet, president of Pineapple Hospitality. “We can't wait for all of our guests to be able to enjoy the program at each of our properties and explore the city in a fun, fit way.”
All four of Pineapple Hospitality's hotels have a fleet of Torker® T300 commuter bikes and helmets available for guest rentals on a first-come, first-served basis. The three-speed bikes are constructed out of lightweight aluminum alloy tube and feature rear coaster brakes.
With hotels in Seattle's downtown, Queen Anne and University District communities, Pineapple Hospitality hotels each feature distinct characteristics and are ideally located for those who want to tour the city, whether by foot, bike, car or public transportation.
Located in the heart of downtown, the bold and vibrant Hotel FIVE is the newest “Piece of the Pineapple” and offers colorful urban decor fit for the hip traveler. The Maxwell Hotel features chic art-inspired elements throughout and is located in Seattle's lower Queen Anne neighborhood, just steps from Seattle's arts scene including Teatro Zin Zanni, Intiman Theatre and McCaw Hall. Built for the 1962 World's Fair, University Inn welcomes guests to the University District with features including retro decor and outdoor swimming pool. Also located in the University District is Watertown Hotel, a refreshing nautical-inspired hotel, just minutes from the University of Washington main campus.
