HRI Lodging Names Alan Baer as SVP of Finance
New Orleans, LA - October 29, 2012 - Alan Baer has joined HRI Lodging as Senior Vice President of Finance, announced Gary Gutierrez, President of the company.
“Alan's results-driven, can-do attitude is key to success in the hospitality industry,” Gutierrez said. “His extensive experience directing diverse teams of employees and spearheading innovative programs will be a welcome addition to our team at HRI Lodging,” he added.
Baer comes to HRI Lodging from San Francisco with more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He was previously responsible for overseeing the accounting and technology functions as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller for all Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants.
Prior to joining Kimpton in 2002, Baer was the Chief Financial Officer for Waterford Hotel Group, an owner and operator of hotels in the northeastern part of the country. He also held a position with Outrigger Lodging Services for 17 years and last served as Vice President of Finance and Administration. Additionally, Baer most recently served as CFO at Eden Lodging, a developer and operator of affordable housing in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Baer is a graduate of California State University Northridge, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Finance and Administration.
