Historic Savoy Hotel Buenos Aires Joins Worldhotels

November 1, 2012 - Worldhotels announced the addition of the Savoy Hotel Buenos Aires to its Deluxe Collection of hotels. It was built in 1910 as the city's first luxury hotel in the downtown area. The hotel is owned by Buenos Aires-based Fragral S.A., and can be booked through the Worldhotels system starting today.

The 164 guestrooms and suites are well-appointed with designer touches, luxury bedding and pampering bathrooms. While all rooms feature a large desk area, complimentary Internet access and mini bars, the top floor includes 30 executive-level rooms with access to VIP services, incredible views of the city and a private lounge.

In addition to a full fitness center where guests can request a relaxing massage, other hotel amenities include a complimentary breakfast, onsite car rental desk, and meeting/conference space supported by a full-service business center.

Fine dining is available to guests and visitors alike in Las Manzanas Restaurant, which features a wide variety of Mediterranean and Argentinean dishes. Drinks and hot brews can be ordered at the Imperio lobby bar, a stylish lounge decorated with columns and chandeliers.

Savoy Hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Obelisk and a short distance from the National Congress Palace. The 24-hour front desk can secure shuttle service to Ministro Pistarini Airport, which is 19 miles away.
