Melrose Hotel, Georgetown Names William Rabil as Jardenea Restaurant Manager

WASHINGTON, DC - November 30, 2012 - The recently reinvented Melrose Hotel, Georgetown, a glamorously chic, art-deco inspired Washington, D.C. boutique hotel, has named William Rabil as restaurant manager of the new Jardenea restaurant -- a farm-to-fork signature restaurant developed by Culinary Director of Remington Hotels, Luxury Division, Ted Peters. Overseeing the direction and organization day-to-day operations within Jardenea at Melrose Hotel, Rabil brings nearly two decades of progressive culinary experience and hospitality expertise to the Georgetown hotel.

From Saudi Arabia to Virginia, Rabil possesses a proven track record in hospitality management that spans the globe. With multi-linguistic fluency in English, French and Arabic languages and a proven ability to meet and exceed customer expectations while building loyalty, Rabil brings a polished approach to the fine dining option of Melrose Hotel, Georgetown.

Rabil attended Massachusetts University of Liberal Arts, where he received a degree in computer science and math. Upon graduation, Rabil continued his education at Northern Virginia Community College, furthering his qualifications and completing the Restaurant/Hospitality Management Certification Program. Before joining the Jardenea team, Rabil spent three years as assistant director of food and beverage at Bay Colony Country Club in Naples, Fla.

Previously lending his talent to the opening of the restaurant and lounge at Hyatt Arlington in Arlington, V.A., Rabil presents an experienced hand to the newly concepted Jardenea restaurant. “I welcome the opportunity of launching the new restaurant,” said Rabil. “Melrose Hotel is in such a great location in D.C. and Jardenea's opening and concept will do phenomenal here.”
