La Quinta Inn & Suites Opens in Springfield, MA
La Quinta Executives and Local Officials Welcome the Newly Renovated, Award-Winning 182-Room Hotel during March 25th Ceremony
DALLAS - April 4, 2013 - Executives of La Quinta Inns & Suites and local officials gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the newly renovated La Quinta Inn & Suites at 100 Congress Street in Springfield. The 182-room property recently won an award for Best Renovation of the Year at the La Quinta Annual Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is located minutes away from the Basketball Hall of Fame, the Springfield Armory, Six Flags New England and a significant group of local corporations and businesses.
The grand opening ceremony was attended by a representative of the office of Congressman Richard Neal, Springfield's Mayor, Dominc Sarno, principals of the Pioneer Valley Hotel Group, which owns the hotel, and senior executives from La Quinta.

Based in Springfield, the Pioneer Valley Hotel Group purchased the property in 2010 and invested in its renovation, including extensive work to the property's guest rooms, public spaces and exterior.
