FEBRUARY 28, 2007. In recognition of the visionaries who develop these instruments and their impact on the hospitality industry, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP(R)) established the International Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame (IHTHF), the associations highest level of recognition in the area of technology. HFTP will continue this trend of excellence by inducting the latest member(s) to this prestigious group of industry professionals, and is now accepting Nominations for the 2007 inductee(s).
Since 1989, 28 individuals have been selected by their peers as representing the best in innovation and application. To be eligible for selection to the Technology Hall of Fame, an individual must have made significant and lasting contributions to hospitality technology in any or all areas of development, application and promotion. A distinguished panel of experts selects members that represent the best in innovation and application of technology, and are leaders in their profession. The 2007 Hall of Fame inductee(s) will be honored in a special presentation at the HITEC 2007 Opening General Session on Tuesday, June 26 at the Orange County Convention Center.
