The Heldrich Adds to New Management Team

FEBRUARY 28, 2007. The Heldrich, the new $120 million property nearing completion in downtown New Brunswick, New Jersey, has added several new members to its management team. The Heldrich is scheduled to open in March.

The Heldrich's new management team members include:

William Van Pelt, Executive Sous Chef. Mr. Van Pelt brings extensive knowledge of the New Brunswick restaurant scene to his new position at The Heldrich. He has served as executive chef for New Brunswick eateries Gaebels and Clydz, along with culinary positions at Old Man Rafferty's and Soho on George. Mr. Van Pelt is a graduate of Rutgers University and the French Culinary Institute in New York City. He resides in Hackettstown, New Jersey.

Johnny Caruso, Front Office Manager. Mr. Caruso was most recently director of front office operations at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. He brings ten years of lodging experience to his new role, having served in managerial positions for Meristar, Starwood and Marriott hotels. Caruso is a graduate of Rider University and resides in Somerset, New Jersey.

Michael Hackworth, Conference Operations Manager. Mr. Hackworth brings an extensive background in meetings presentation technology and event production to his new role at The Heldrich. He was previously the audiovisual manager at the Four Diamond-rated Hotel Westminster, located in Livingston, New Jersey.

Paul Lawton, Revenue Manager. Mr. Lawton brings significant yield management expertise to The Heldrich. He joins the team after serving in the same role at North Maple Inn at Basking Ridge, New Jersey, a sister hotel to The Heldrich.

Margaret Siuta, Pastry Chef. Ms. Siuta is a gifted culinary professional who possesses tremendous creativity and artistic talent. She was most recently employed at North Maple Inn, serving as pastry supervisor. Siuta is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, located in New York City.
