Brokerage Firm Brick&Mortar Launches Commercial Division
Commercial Veteran Jason LaRusso to Head New Division
New York, NY - June 11, 2013 - Brick&Mortar, a full-service residential real estate brokerage firm, announced today the launch of its new commercial division. The commercial division will specialize in commercial sales and leasing, property development, and factory loft conversions.
Brick&Mortar founder and principal broker Rolan Sereny launched the division in anticipation of the expected growth of infrastructure in Brooklyn following the recent boom in residential construction. “I've documented 37 new developments in Williamsburg,” said Sereny. “As the local population grows, we envision an increase in the need for services such as office space and retail shopping centers.”
Jason LaRusso, a senior leasing agent at Brick&Mortar, will spearhead the commercial division. LaRusso, formerly a commercial real estate sales agent at Tungsten Property, brings over 10 years of commercial real estate experience in commercial sales, leasing, and retail. LaRusso's vision for the commercial division is to make Brick&Mortar the primary resource for commercial real estate in Brooklyn. “From storefronts to large-scale projects, we want to service all types of commercial property in Williamsburg,” said LaRusso. “Our primary targets include retail, restaurant, and mixed-use spaces in the north and south side of Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and Bushwick.” He will oversee a team of three experienced commercial agents.
