Ace Hotel Founder, Alex Calderwood, Dies at Age 47
November 19, 2013 - The Ace put out a statement on their blog that simply said:
Yesterday Alex Calderwood passed away. Alex was our teacher, mentor, guru and most importantly our dear friend.
We will miss him.
Mr. Calderwood was found in his London hotel room. No further details are yet available.
