Ambassador Hotel Collection Opens 54-room Hotel in Oklahoma Converting Circa 1929 Building
OKLAHOMA CITY - March 24, 2014 - Ambassador Hotel Collection, a Tulsa-based hospitality company, opened its doors in Oklahoma City on March 19. The latest in the Ambassador's portfolio of hotels boasts traditional elegance with contemporary touches adding to the Midtown District's mix of entertainment, commercial and residential culture.

The overall renovation was performed by Coury Properties of Tulsa, Okla. at a project cost of $14 million. The new hotel will accommodate guests in 54 rooms with six different room configurations on seven floors. Rooms include spacious bathrooms with marble-tiled showers and lighted make-up mirrors, programmable safes, refrigerators, Keurig coffee station, free bottled water and more.
The rebirth of the historic, 1929 Osler Medical Building located at 1200 N. Walker Ave. in Oklahoma City will lavish guests with traditional furnishings and contemporary throughout. Provided for guests are wonderful outdoor spaces, a pool, workout facility, complimentary shuttle service within a three-mile radius, two conference rooms, business center and other upper-end amenities. Guests will enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
Chef Leonard Novak will lead the culinary experience for guests dining at the Ambassador's restaurant on the first floor. A classically trained chef, Novak will bring a fusion of tastes, combining "home-style favorites" with a unique culinary point of view. Guests wanting to relax for happy hour or a late night cocktail or dessert can enjoy the O Bar located on the seventh floor of the hotel complete with a terrace overlooking Oklahoma City.
