Jeff Zelkin Named GM, Embassy Suites Hotel Colorado Springs, CO by Spire Hospitality

Responsible for consistent delivery of product quality and service, Zelkin brings more than 13 years of management and leadership to the property and the Spire Hospitality team.
Most recently, Zelkin served as opening general manager at Embassy Suites Tucson Paloma Village, where he assisted in ranking the hotel in the top 10 percent of over 213 other Embassy Suites Hotels and Resorts for Quality and Service from 2008 to 2013. Prior to Embassy Suites Tucson Paloma Village, Zelkin acted as assistant general manager with Commonwealth Hotels, where he grew REVPAR by 7.8 percent during his tenure.

Having received his Associate of Occupational Studies degree at the Culinary Institute of America, Zelkin served in roles of executive chef, executive banquet chef and sous chef for Marriott Hotels & Resorts. His Marriott experience jump-started his career as executive chef for numerous resorts such as Gardiners Resort on Camelback and Embassy Suites Hotel Phoenix-Scottsdale. Zelkin's vast industry experience led him to the position of revenue and reservation manager for the Embassy Suites Hotel Phoenix-Scottsdale, where he successfully increased occupancy index, rate index and REVPAR for three consecutive years.
