Starwood Introduces Minority Hotel Developer & Owner Program
Program for Minority Owners Offering Preferred and Customized Services for Starwood Branded Properti
WHITE PLAINS, NY, August 17, 2005. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. announces its new Minority Hotel Developer & Owner Program allowing small minority developers preferential development services for all Starwood brands including St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, Westin, Sheraton, Four Points by Sheraton, W Hotels and Project XYZ.
Qualified minority developers pursuing single projects may now have access to services and benefits of the Starwood Preferred Developer Program, specialized services that are available to developers committing multiple projects with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Additional advantages of the Starwood Hotel Development & Owner program include assistance with site qualification and access to an assigned Starwood development consultant for each individual project by the Starwood Real Estate Group.
At the same time, Merrill Lynch, in conjunction with Starwood, announces their Minority Developer Program, offering senior and mezzanine/subordinated financing up to 85% LTC financing resulting in a faster and simpler loan process, one blended rate and mortgage payment.
