TAIPEI, TA. September 30, 2015 - Regent Hotels and Resorts' senior vice president of development Arjan De Boer recently attended the Tourism, Hotel Investment and Networking Conference (THINC) in Bali, Indonesia on behalf of the luxury hotel group. A temporary Regent Suite was built for investors and developers to experience the essence of Regent - the perfect blend of East and West, modernity and timelessness.

During the conference, De Boer announced Regent's development plans for the next three years, including new hotels in Indonesia's Jakarta and China's Chongqing, Xian and Harbin. He also shared his experiences developing properties as mixed-use models, incorporating luxurious residences into the hotels such as the two phases of Regent Porto Montenegro as well as the upcoming Regent Residences Jakarta. These success stories sparked interest and paved the way for possible future collaborations.

The annual Tourism, Hotel Investment & Networking Conference (THINC) Indonesia, hosted by HVS and co-hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, Republic of Indonesia and Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), is a two-day event with seminars and panels by industry experts as well as networking opportunities. The record-breaking 300+ attendees this year included hotel owners, operators, real estate developers, investors, architects, designers and government agencies from all over the world, showcasing immense positive outlook for international hotels.
