LAKE OZARK, MO. January 26, 2016 - Camden on the Lake Resort, Spa & Yacht Club has sold to Camden Resort, L.P., an entity of a leading hotel investment and management firm based in Kansas City, Mo. The sale includes the 119-unit condo hotel, H. Toad's Bar & Grill, a 108-slip marina and yacht club, full service spa, entertainment venue and shopping options.

Rich Lillis, Executive Vice President of Colliers International South Florida, and Drew Quinn, CCIM, Senior Vice President of Colliers International Kansas City, represented Valley View Bank, the seller and lead lender on the project.

The Lake of the Ozarks area welcomes approximately 5 million visitors a year and has experienced tremendous growth and development over the past 20 years. The major feeder markets include nearby St. Louis, Kansas City and Des Moines, as well as Chicago, among other Midwest cities.

Camden on the Lake Resort, Spa & Yacht Club appeals to affluent professionals and couples of all ages and sees its busiest months from late spring, during the summer and into the fall, when visitors can take advantage of amenities such as boat and jet-ski rentals and a lakefront pool with a swim-up bar. Throughout the rest of the year, the resort hosts many corporate groups, regional associations and conferences in its 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

The resort is also widely known as a premier entertainment venue, hosting a variety of regional and national acts, including big names in the music industry, such as musical stars Nelly and Foreigner.

The property is located at the seven-mile marker on the Lake of the Ozarks at 2359 Bittersweet Road.
