history of Ranbanka palace
Ranbanka Palace was built in 1927 for Maharajadhiraj Sir Ajit Singh ji, the youngest son of Maharaja Sir Sardar Singh ji.The name “Ranbanka” means “Master of Battles” and was an honour conferred upon the courageous Rajput clan of Jodhpur. Ranbanka Palace was converted into a heritage hotel in 2000 with 35 rooms, In 2008, the room inventory was increased to 80. In 2013, Ranbanka Palace received the Heritage Classic classification from the Ministry of Tourism.
