Sheraton Dallas Hotel Hires New Director of Catering
DALLAS, TX. March 8, 2016 - The Sheraton Dallas announces it has named Lora Baronet-Diehl as the new Director of Catering of the downtown Dallas hotel.
As the Director of Catering at Sheraton Dallas, Baronet-Diehl is responsible for training, supporting, and collaborating with the catering and event management teams in order to solicit, book, plan and execute catering functions. Additionally in her position, Baronet-Diehl administers all phases of the banquet department, including sales, planning, marketing, servicing and administrative procedures. She prepares, implements and compiles data for strategic sales plans, annual goals, and forecasts and ensures catering sales meet all quotas.

Baronet-Diehl brings to Sheraton Dallas more than 16 years of experience in catering and restaurant management in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining the Sheraton Dallas, Baronet-Diehl was a Catering Sales Manager and Convention Services Manager at Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, a Catering Sales Manager at W Dallas-Victory Hotel & Residences, a Catering and Restaurant Sales Manager at Gaylord Texan, and most recently served as the Director of Catering at the Hilton Fort Worth and The Ashton Hotel.
In her previous position at Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, Baronet-Diehl was nominated as Catering Manager of the Year and was awarded Manager of the Quarter by Starwood. She is a member of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) and a graduate of American InterContinental University.
