Brandi Hyder Named Assistant General Manager for the UCLA Meyer & Renee Luskin Conference Center

LOS ANGELES, CA. March 8, 2016 - Brandi Hyder has been named assistant general manager for the UCLA Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center currently under construction in the heart of UCLA's main campus. The university-based conference center, which will offer 254 spacious guestrooms and 25,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting space, is scheduled to open in August of this year. Les Utley, general manager, made the announcement.

"She brings to her new role with us important experience in senior leadership positions gained at several first rate properties. She also has previously opened a new hotel, and offers this unique operational perspective to our team.”

Brandi Hyder was most recently assistant general manager for The Logan, Philadelphia, where she was an active part of the hotel's preopening and post-opening management teams. Prior to this appointment, she served as assistant general manager for the Hilton Memphis.

Ms. Hyder has held leadership positions for a variety of Four Diamond properties, including the Eden Roc Miami Beach; The Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club & Spa and The Heathman Hotel, both of Kirkland, Washington; and the Hotel Andra of Seattle, where she launched her hospitality career.

Brandi Hyder is a graduate of Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, and the coveted Cornell General Managers program. She earned her Bachelor of English and Sociology degrees from the University of Washington.
