Hyatt Regency Clearwater Resort & Spa Names Chad Eding, General Manager and Andrea Honan, Director of Sales, Marketing and Events
CLEARWATER, FL. March 15, 2016 - Hyatt Regency Clearwater Resort & Spa has named Chad Eding, General Manager and Andrea Honan, Director of Sales, Marketing and Events, respectively. Eding is responsible for the management and operation of the 250 room resort, while Honan directs the resort's sales, marketing and events functions.
Eding has a distinguished career in hospitality, which includes 15 years with Hyatt and various management roles at several properties throughout the country. Most recently, he served as general manager of Hyatt Regency Cincinnati, one of the city's most renowned business and leisure hotels. Eding was acting general manager at Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in 2014, and prior to that role, he held posts in various rooms and operations functions in Hyatt hotels throughout California, including: Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf, Hyatt Regency Newport, and Grand Hyatt San Francisco. Eding was part of the opening team for Park Hyatt Chicago in 2000, and began his Hyatt career at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in 1999. In 2013, Eding was awarded Hyatt Hotels & Resort's Rooms Team of the Year recognition. Eding is a graduate of Grand Valley State University, Allendale, MI.

Honan was part of the 2009 opening team for Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa as director of catering and convention services. Prior to her moving to Clearwater, Honan held roles with Hyatt starting in 2005 as catering manager and later group sales manager at Hyatt Rosemont. In 2007, Honan joined Hyatt Regency O'Hare as associate director of catering and convention services. Honan was awarded Hyatt's Director of Catering of the Year in 2011 and is involved with the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce and has served as vice-chair for events and marketing in 2013 and 2014.
