NOVUM Hotel Group to Acquire Mercure Hotel Ingolstadt, and Accor Franchise
INGOLSTADT, DE. September 7, 2016 - The NOVUM Hotel Group is growing even faster: Another franchise hotel is being acquired on 1st October 2016 - the Mercure Hotel Ingolstadt. This four-star property with 71 rooms is situated in a quiet location, just four kilometres away from the Bavarian business city's centre.
“Franchise partnerships are of particular importance to our international expansion”, explains David Etmenan, CEO of NOVUM Group. Thanks to the acquisition of the Mercure Hotel Ingolstadt, the family-owned company's expansion is accelerated even further. “More and more major hotel corporations are looking for new operators as franchise partners. This is an important momentum for us, because thanks to further strong brands and sophisticated booking strategies, we can expect a significant growth”, says Etmenan.
Next to Accor, further franchise contracts are planned with other international hotel groups and will be listed in the portfolio of the newly-created “Novum Hotel Collection”.
