New York, NY - November 3, 2016 - Carrie Wicks has been appointed CEO of Leeu Collection, effective immediately. Carrie was previously Operations Director at Firmdale Hotels, in the United Kingdom, where she worked for 19 years and was responsible for Firmdale's growth operationally.
Carrie is a driven and positive individual with recognised leadership qualities and international experience, has an eye for detail and a proven track record of creating lean, non-bureaucratic and dynamic organizations that respond rapidly to the changing demands of markets and customers, qualities that will assist her in taking Leeu Collection to an even higher level of excellence.

Complementing Leeu Collection on the main street of Franschhoek is Tuk Tuk, a craft beer microbrewery in collaboration with The Cape Brewing Company; and an exotic new culinary hub Heritage Square, which will be home to Marigold, Franschhoek' s first Indian restaurant. Everard Read, Franschhoek, opening early 2017 in partnership with Leeu Collection, is a considered space showing the best modern and contemporary works by Southern African artists. The Gallery includes a sculpture garden, interspersed with herbs and vegetables.
