TAMPA, FL, September 19, 2006. BayStar Hotel Group, LLC has just completed a $750,000 cosmetic upgrade on its Holiday Inn - State Capitol East in Tallahasee.
Dramatic new carpeting, drapes, wall covering and art give the 2,400-square-foot meeting room a bold new look. BayStar also created a large pre-meeting space outside the meeting area overlooking the outdoor pool and redecorated the board room.
In addition to the new look, guests will enjoy a new feel. All of the 148 guest rooms now offer new bedding and bath packages featuring pillow-top mattresses, shower rods that curve toward the outside for more room and upgraded shower heads.
Approximately one mile from the State Capitol, the Holiday Inn at 1355 Appalachia Parkway is home to the Tallahassee Ale House sports bar. The hotel provides free high-speed wireless Internet access along with a business center. It also offers room service and has a guest laundry room, swimming pool and fitness center.
