Sorrento Hotel Announces New Sales Team Members

JANUARY 24, 2008. The Sorrento Hotel proudly announces the newest additions of its sales team, Group Sales Manager Sabrina Flores and Event Sales Manager April Bowers.
Flores' career began as part of the opening team of the Westin Bellevue. From the front desk she ascended to a hotel concierge and then to sales coordinator, where she planned events for small to mid-size groups. Flores was hired as group sales manager for the Sorrento Hotel in October 2007. She is an active member of Meeting Professionals International, Washington State Chapter, and is a graduate of Lake Washington Technical College with a degree in Hospitality.
Bowers brings a well-rounded background in both event planning and food and beverage. She joined the Sorrento Hotel in August 2007 after attending the French Culinary Institute in New York City, where she received her Grande Diplome in Classic French Culinary Techniques. While there, Bowers served an internship at Soho-based Public Restaurant, and concurrently worked as a private caterer. Prior to her culinary studies, Bowers held an office manager and event planner post at Fox Sports News Northwest.
