CHIP Hospitality announced the recent appointment of Robert Pratt as the President
JANUARY 22, 2008. Mr. Pratt holds a long-standing record of success within CHIP and the hospitality industry at large. In 1998, Mr. Pratt joined CHIP as the Vice President of Operations, and in a matter of a one short year, he was promoted to the role of Senior Vice President of Operations in 1999. In the past 10 years of service, Mr. Pratt has provided nothing short of prominent guidance to his corporate leaders in driving improved guest satisfaction, hotel profitability and competitive leadership.

Mr. Pratt began his career in hospitality at an early age. He worked in hotels during his teenage years, and graduated from Cornell University, North America's pre-eminent hotel school, and spent 17 years with Westin.
As president of CHIP, Mr. Pratt will be responsible for the operating results of the CHIP Hospitality hotel portfolio and he will represent CHIP hotels, at an executive level, to the company's key business partners, including top clients, brands and suppliers.
