MSI Attracts Industry Veterans for Key Executive Positions

. October 14, 2008

JANUARY 21, 2008. Multi-Systems, Inc. (MSI) is pleased to announce two industry leaders-Andrew Sanders and Keith Cook-who joined MSI this month. The additions were made to accelerate the implementation of MSI's growth strategies and to broaden the executive management team.

Andrew Sanders has joined MSI as the Vice President of Sales. As an executive-level sales resource in the hospitality technology industry for Micros and Red Sky IT, Andrew was familiar with MSI from a competitive standpoint. In his new role, Andrew will expand the sales team to include regionalized sales offices and will extend MSI's products and services to a broader range of hotel customers and management companies. Andrew's experience with sales and marketing-coupled with his reputation in the industry as a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and driven hotel technology provider-is the perfect sales compliment to the changes in product management and development that have set the groundwork for MSI's expansion.

"MSI impressed me with its customer/people-orientated culture and a 'can do' attitude to trying new things. We are agile and strong enough to deliver great technology, the best customer service, and a flexible approach to working with our customers. Our aim is to be the number one vendor in our chosen markets and everyone at MSI is aligned to deliver that goal," stated Andrew.

Keith Cook, the new Director of Product Management, will be responsible for leading the product team to continue MSI's focus of developing creative, stable, supportable, and marketable product lines. With experience ranging from product management to CRS integration-with such industry heavy-hitters as Pegasus and Encore-Keith is a first-rate choice to lead MSI's product management group, whose industry experience and understanding of hotel operations have given MSI's products advanced momentum over the last year.

"As my tenure involved working with industry leaders in the past, I was looking for a company committed to providing cutting-edge hotel technology, and was very impressed with the product lines that MSI is actively developing," commented Keith. "MSI is determined to build on their position as a leading provider of products with their new technology, and I am excited to be in a position to help make that happen."

Last year, MSI announced a new product-The Helm-which compliments MSI's centrally distributed EnterprisePM system with features targeted to hotel groups consolidating accounting, sales, and customer service centers. The success of another new product, the Place Point POS System, demonstrated MSI's ability to develop and deploy new technology. The Place Point POS, which offers retail and self service features, has been embraced by hotels offering food and beverage services in a casual environment, and reached an install base of 80+ property installations in its first year.

"We've been congratulated by numerous industry professionals for attracting Keith and Andrew to MSI," stated Tim Tiller, MSW, and President of MSI. When asked about how the recruitment occurred, Tim said that an in-depth look at MSI's solutions, services, and people were the compelling reasons both Andrew and Keith were interested in MSI. "We're serious about our 'go forward' strategy and are excited that after being exposed to MSI's plans, both Andrew and Keith were captured by the vision."
