White Lodging Services and Apple REIT Six, Inc. Announce Management Deal for Five East Coast Hotels
RICHMOND, VA, August 24, 2005. White Lodging Services, a rapidly growing hotel ownership, development and operating company, was recently awarded the management contract for five premium branded select service and extended stay hotels on the east coast from Apple REIT Six, Inc. Each of these hotels will be owned by Apple REIT Six, Inc. of Richmond, VA and managed by White Lodging Services of Merrillville, IN.
The multi-property agreement stems from an initial partnering of the two companies on the Boulder, CO Marriott, which Apple acquired in early May, and White Lodging has successfully managed since inception. Apple elected to retain White Lodging for management of the award winning Boulder Marriott, and subsequently have signed them to manage the five additional, newly-constructed properties in their portfolio.

The five newly constructed hotels are all scheduled to open by September 1, 2005.
