365 Hospitality Opens Radisson Hotel West Sacramento Following Renovation and Rebranding

USA, Minneapolis, Minnesota. April 14, 2021

Radisson, one of the most recognized hotel brands, announced the opening of the 140 room Radisson Hotel West Sacramento. Optimally positioned off Interstate 80 just 10 minutes west of downtown Sacramento and 15 minutes from Sacramento International Airport (SMF), the hotel's centralized location serves as the perfect access point to all that California's capital city has to offer. Convenience is further amplified with amenities such as free parking and complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport as well as downtown attractions for guests interested in avoiding city traffic and downtown parking fees.

The hotel underwent an extensive renovation to become a Radisson, which includes fully-refreshed public spaces including the lobby, atrium, fitness center and restaurant. Now featuring the brand's latest design, Radisson Hotel West Sacramento boasts a contemporary look with a comfortable feel. Updates made to the hotel also include improved sustainability and tech offerings to meet the needs and expectations of modern travelers, whether visiting for business, leisure, or anything in between.

"We are thrilled to have another Radisson hotel opening in a dynamic city like Sacramento," said Aly El-Bassuni, chief operating officer, Americas, Radisson Hotel Group. "This hotel puts the very best of the Radisson brand on display. We're incredibly excited for this hotel team to begin welcoming guests through their doors and making memorable moments."

Near the hotel, guests can visit River Walk Park, a popular green space that overlooks the Sacramento River, and the Crocker Art Museum, which houses one of the most prestigious art collections on the West Coast. For those in town for business, the hotel is close to the California Highway Patrol Academy, the California Department of General Services and several other companies headquartered in the state's capital.

During their stay, guests have access to the business center, fitness center, indoor spa and hot tub, along with an outdoor pool offering cabana seating to complement the hotel's resort-like feel. Guests can indulge in delicious meals and tasty cocktails at the hotel's onsite restaurant, RBG Bar & Grill, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with hybrid indoor-outdoor seating and numerous TV screens, making it an appealing option for sports viewing. Additionally, the hotel can serve as the perfect venue for meetings and celebrations with its 4,000 square feet of event space across four rooms for up to 250 guests.

"We've taken notice as the Radisson brand has steadily grown its presence across the country in recent years, and when the opportunity presented itself for us to join the Radisson family, we jumped at the chance," said Ankit Panchal, CEO of 365 Hospitality and managing member of West Sacramento Hospitality, LLC. "Working with the Radisson Hotel Group team to establish such a well-recognized brand in a new city has been an exciting undertaking, and we're thrilled to be opening this beautiful hotel as an attractive alternative to downtown lodging options."

With the health, safety and security of guests and team members as its utmost priority, Radisson Hotel West Sacramento is implementing the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol program, in-depth cleanliness and disinfection protocols developed in partnership with SGS, the world's leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. This program is designed to ensure guest safety and peace of mind from check-in to check-out.

Sales & Marketing: Playing the Long Game

During an economic downturn, it is tempting to slash marketing budgets to make up for lost revenue. But smart hoteliers play the long game, knowing that companies who stay engaged with their customers will be the first to benefit from a rebound. Therefore, now is the time to renew and revamp sales and marketing strategies in order to be ready for what lies ahead. For example, this is a perfect time to refresh website content, social media and SEO.  The same for hotel blogs where content can be updated to give customers inspirational ideas as they begin to travel and meet again. Multimedia assets should also be revised with new photo/video shoots that provide accurate information about how setups, room configurations, and onsite offerings have changed to accommodate safer meetings and social distancing. The June Hotel Business Review will focus on the sales and marketing strategies that some hotels are adopting in anticipation of a recovery in 2021.
