Bespoke Hotels Expands UK Portfolio With Acquisition of Four Coast & Country Hotels
Bespoke Hotels has expanded its UK portfolio with the acquisition of four regional hotels from Coast & Country Hotels.
The transaction covers the Caledonian Hotel in Fort William, the Great Western Hotel in Oban, the Pitlochry Hydro, and the Marine Hotel in Llandudno. Each property offers a unique appeal in prime tourist locations, from the Scottish highlands to the Welsh coast.
Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has facilitated the sale of these four hotels but the financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
The latest transaction follows the previous sale facilitated by Christie & Co on behalf of Coast & Country Hotels earlier this year. These included The Royal Hotel in Whitby, the Majestic Hotel in Eastbourne, and the New Southlands Hotel in Scarborough.
All these properties are part of a larger portfolio of 33 assets put on the market by Coast & Country Hotels.
Bespoke Hotels chairman Haydn Fentum expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition, stating: "I'm delighted to announce the acquisition of these four regional hotels, which represent a significant step forward in our growth strategy. Christie & Co anticipate further deals being announced in the weeks ahead which will include regional commercial and leisure focussed hotels."
The acquisition by Bespoke Hotels, which boasts a collection of more than 70 independent hotels, comes on the heels of other recent additions to its management portfolio, including The Green House Hotel in Bournemouth and Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel & Spa in Wales.
Earlier this year, Christie & Co also completed the divestment of two Midlands hotels, the Forest Lodge Hotel and Hadley Park House.
