OTH Hotels Resorts, a Virginia-based hospitality ownership and management company with an asset portfolio valued at more than $775 million, announces its latest third-party management contract for the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport.

Conveniently located near Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport and minutes from downtown Birmingham, the 220-room Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport serves both business and leisure travelers. Property highlights include modern guest accommodations with plenty of connecting rooms to serve families, on-site dining at Steel City Bar & Grill, an outdoor pool, fitness center, and onsite batting cages. Braemar Hotels & Resorts Inc. (NYSE: BHR) ("Braemar" or the "Company") announced its plans to transition the 415-room Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile to a franchise structure. Under the franchise structure, the hotel will continue to be the Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile, but will be managed by Remington Hospitality under the existing terms of its Master Hotel Management Agreement with Braemar.

In connection with the conversion, which is expected to be effective in May 2025, Remington Hospitality will give offers for all employees employed on the conversion date to remain in their current positions as employees of a subsidiary of Remington Hospitality. There is no required property improvement plan associated with the conversion, but the Company does plan to renovate the lobby, restaurant, and meeting space over the next two years.

"We are pleased to announce the conversion of the Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile from being brand-managed to a franchise, and we look forward to working with the Accor team in this new capacity," announced Richard J. Stockton, Braemar's President and Chief Executive Officer. He continued, "We expect an immediate uplift in the value of the property due to the Sofitel brand remaining on the hotel and the management agreement with Remington being terminable on sale."

Hilton (NYSE: HLT) announced the signing of a strategic licensing agreement (SLA) with NILE Hospitality to open 75 Hampton by Hilton hotels in India, joining more than 3,000 hotels trading under the brand worldwide. The news is another demonstration of Hilton's commitment to growth in the country following an earlier agreement in 2024 to bring 150 Spark by Hilton hotels to India with Olive by Embassy.

Under the agreement with NILE Hospitality, the first Hampton by Hilton hotels will debut across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab and Bihar. Hampton by Hilton sits in the upper midscale segment, which expands the company's existing midscale category in the country following the growth of upscale brand Hilton Garden Inn and the upcoming premium economy brand, Spark by Hilton.

Guest rooms were renewed in Phase One and revealed in July 2021, totaling 301 guest rooms and 16 suites, including two Presidential suites. The design aesthetic carries through to the guest rooms to provide a relaxed ambiance, seamlessly integrating elements of locally inspired industrial craftsmanship into every detail. The harmonious blend of earth tones and serene colors in the guest rooms evoke a welcoming and tranquil atmosphere.

Balancing these industrial influences, the color palette in the guest rooms incorporates earth tones with luxurious textures and serene colors reminiscent of the lush mountain landscapes of Pittsburgh's horizon. For example, guest rooms feature wall artwork with an artistic depiction of the Three Rivers.

Germantown, TN- based McNeill Hotel Company (MHC) today announced that hospitality industry veteran Marci Jacobs has joined the company to serve as Vice President of Sales & Revenue Generation. MHC President Travis Murray made the announcement.

In this role, Jacobs will be responsible for building an integrated approach to sales, digital marketing, and revenue generation to enhance collaboration and develop synergies among these functions at the corporate and property levels. Jacobs will also be intimately involved in organization-wide training activities and career development of McNeill personnel.

Jacobs has more than 25 years of hotel experience in direct selling, marketing, and revenue management. Prior to joining MHC, Jacobs was a Regional Director of Sales with Peachtree Group Hospitality Management, and before that, she was Regional Revenue Manager and Regional Director of Sales and Marketing with Aimbridge Hospitality.

Jacobs has also served in sales and revenue management roles with Crescent Hotels and Resorts, Marcus Hotels and Resorts, and John Q. Hammons Hotels. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Oklahoma State University and has been a frequent hospitality-related guest speaker and lecturer.

Premier is pleased to announce the completion of its latest upscale focused service hotel renovation: the Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda.

As part of a $4 million renovation, Premier provided the architecture, interior design, and procurement expertise that transformed the hotel's lobby, meetings and events spaces, bar and lounge, restaurant, and fitness center. Additionally, Premier oversaw the updating of the hotel's exterior and arrival experience.

Premier's Interior Design team's program for the Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda was inspired by the urban parks within walking distance of the hotel. Downtown Bethesda's charm lies in its public green spaces and trails that blend within its urban environment; that same inspiration helped Premier's Interior Design team activate the property's Hilton Brighthearted Program - an initiative to incorporate the needs of the local cultural and business communities by creating community-inspired spaces with a focus on offering authentic local experiences.

Helping the owners optimize the impact of their renovation budget, Premier's Interior Design team maximized the project's cost efficiency by cleverly resurfacing, reclaiming, and repurposing existing furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) and built-in millwork, effectively reducing materials and construction expenses, and streamlining the project's overall timeline.

"The Premier Interior Design team is most proud of our work on the lobby and great room space in this hotel renovation," notes Laura L. Bennett, Senior Interior Designer for Premier. "The registration desk was reconfigured and opened so team members can more easily assist guests. The quick print station was relocated to be closer to the front desk, while the sundries area was relocated to the former business center and opened for better merchandizing of goods and improved revenue-generating potential. Overall, the design encapsulates Hilton Garden Inn's style, and creates an inviting destination that embraces the surrounding neighborhood's textures, colors, and vibes."

As a value-add for the property's owners, Premier introduced increased functionality to the hotel's back of house spaces. After a thorough review of the hotel's floor plan, Premier's Interior Design team was able to locate and repurpose underutilized square footage as new office space for the hotel's operations teams.

Arizona Grand Resort Undergoes Renovation

PHOENIX, AZ, NOvember 16, 2007. Imagine spending $32,000 to renovate your favorite room. Now imagine spending that money 640 times over. That $21 million investment is just the beginning of the renovations at Arizona Grand Resort, now owned by Grossman Company Properties, a leading national developer with a long history of successful real estate and resort hotel redevelopments.

Sam Grossman, founder of Grossman Company Properties, purchased Arizona Grand Resort in 2006 and immediately saw the potential for greatness.
