. October 14, 2008

MIAMI BEACH, FL, August 30, 2005. Distinguished Hotels International, a hotel marketing and management consortium with over 130 upscale properties in 20 countries, is further building and reinforcing its brand among independent hotels worldwide with the following appointments:

. Helen Talbi, revenue manager, based in London

. Tritschler Associates, general representation agent, based near Munich, Germany

Talbi will be responsible for loading and managing rates, inventory, promotions, special offers and consortia agreements to maximize reservations volume and rates for Distinguished Hotels' member properties.

Before joining Distinguished Hotels, Talbi spent the last five years in the service department of Pegasus Solutions, a global hotel representation company offering technology and marketing services worldwide. She managed a variety of hotel accounts around Northern and Central Europe as well as dealt with mid-size independent properties and large hotel groups.

To her new position, Talbi brings in-depth knowledge of GDS systems and the Internet, which is a perfect fit to Distinguished Hotels' recent launch of the exclusive, private-label code 'DH' on Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo and Worldspan where travel agents and reservationists can easily access the individual hotels in this luxury global group.

"We're extremely pleased to have a professional the caliber of Helen Talbi join our organization," said David Moth, executive vice president of Distinguished Hotels International. "Her knowledge, enthusiasm and innovative spirit will be a huge asset to our company as we grow our portfolio of properties in North America, Europe and beyond," he added.

To support the hotel company's aggressive expansion in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, Distinguished Hotels has tapped Tritschler Associates for the task. Tritschler Associates specializes in marketing, advising and developing independent and unique European hotels and will provide personal and local support as well as global distribution for members of the Distinguished Hotels group.

Thomas K. Tritschler, managing director, has extensive experience in international luxury hotels having lived and worked in England and the U.S. where he held various management positions with prestigious companies such as Regent Hotels, Peninsula Hotels and the Savoy Group among others. He returned to Germany in 1998, and after managing two more outstanding properties, he successfully built Tritschler Associates into one of the premier representation companies in the region.

"Tritschler Associates is an exceptional complement to our European-based team, acting as a reliable source for all hotel members in Central Europe as well as paving the way for Distinguished Hotels' growth of the brand in key European, Middle Eastern and African locations," said William Burruss, Jr., president of Distinguished Hotels International.
