Softbrands Extends Reseller Agreement with Libra
NOVEMBER 7, 2007. SoftBrands, Inc. (AMEX: SBN) a global supplier of enterprise application software, announced today that it has extended its agreement with Libra Hospitality to represent the Karyon distribution products and services across Russia and eastern Europe.
Libra Hospitality is the premier software provider to the growing travel and tourism market throughout Russia and eastern Europe, and currently supports more than 150 hotels. "With Karyon, we now offer a true, end-to-end, vertically integrated solution, providing not only state-of-the-art management information systems to our client hotels, but also the connectivity to all the major distribution channels," said Nikolai Balba, managing director, Libra Hospitality. Karyon, which SoftBrands launched less than one year ago, has already signed more than 175 member hotels representing over 20,000 rooms. "SoftBrands reseller agreement with Libra Hospitality has yielded positive growth for the Karyon business," said Gregg Hopkins, vice president and general manager of Karyon. "Libra's focus on localization of the product with their dedicated staffing supported by Karyon's sales process makes them a significant provider across the growing Russian region."
